Here’s some nuggets from Forrest County: Lillie Burney precinct (99.2% for Obama) voted 6-0 for Cochran in the Primary and 52-2 in the Runoff. Burger Center precinct (99.6% for Obama) voted 6-0 for Cochran in the Primary and 62-1 in the Runoff. Rowan precinct (99.7% for Obama) voted 16-0 for Cochran in the Primary and 90-5 in the runoff. Total for the three precincts: 28-0 in the Primary, 204-8 in the Runoff. That’s a 657% turnout increase. The Cochran GOTV strategy was not limited to the Delta.

The redistricting serves an important role of packing as many Democrats as possible into three Congressional Districts.

Stewart’s county taxes are below inflation and is one of the best taxpayer records in the entire state. He told the 155,000 people who voted for Corey Stewart to stay home, as he does every single day.

North Carolina has a big surplus and is cutting taxes. Your state is bankrupt and raising taxes. The only reason McCrory lost was he refused to defend HB2. The LG who was its biggest supporter won by 8. The GOP now has a 74-46 House edge and 35-15 in the Senate after Democratic legislative candidates made HB2 the number one issue in their races. Actually, Virginia is the next New Jersey, and you should look at these returns and realize several things 1) your taxes will continue to go up 2) you will get Medicaid Expansion and Common Core 3) the GOP will lose the State Senate this Fall 4) more and more productive high income people will move out and people like me will choose North Carolina instead. My advice: sell now while your home is still worth something.

Roe v Wade allows unrestricted abortions for any reason up to and including the day of delivery. There has yet to be any abortion that has ever been stopped by any judge anywhere in America because of any mythical “restriction” in the Roe decision. That is because Roe allows for abortions up to the moment of birth if the “health of the mother could be threatened.” That means anything and everything. People who support Roe support unrestricted abortion up to and including the moment of birth for any reason at all. That’s a fact.
